Yep, that's how far I plummetted in today's skydive! It was fantastic!!
I think I look more scared in the DVD than I actually felt. The freefall was incredible - 9,000 feet at over 200kph (124mph)! The descent with the parachute is just as fun though...the view was spectacular. I could see the beach (Mission Beach) along with a lot of little islands in the sea. Stunning.
Watched the DVD...not too many cringe-worthy moments although I haven't heard what i said yet (and I distinctly remember saying 'amazing' a lot!).
It was an experience everyone should do at least once in their lives.
Tomorrow it's a day trip to Cape Tribulation. Another excellent day, we expect...
